Crackdown on Trade License Misuse

In an effort to address growing concerns, the NSCN IM Union Territory (UT) office issues a stern warning against non-local traders exploiting local identities in their trade licenses. The move comes in response to numerous complaints about illegal activities, including adulteration, price manipulation, and duplication of goods, all carried out under the guise of local businesses.

The organization emphasizes its support for legal business endeavors but unequivocally denounces the use of local names for illicit activities. Locals and the general public have reportedly fallen victim to these deceptive practices, where non-locals allegedly operate businesses solely for additional profit.

Regulating Nightlife in Dimapur

Taking a proactive stance on societal values, the UT, NSCN/GPRN sets guidelines for nightclubs and restaurants, mandating closure before 10:30 pm. The decision is motivated by concerns about immoral activities involving young girls and married men, often fueled by money and alcohol.

Upholding Dignity and Honor

While advocating for the dignity and honor of women in Naga society, the organization expresses disappointment over instances where young girls compromise their values for financial gain and alcohol. The statement underscores the need to protect the moral fabric of society.

Stringent Action Against Substance Abuse

Highlighting the alarming rise in substance abuse, particularly involving young individuals, the UT, NSCN/GPRN announces its intent to take strict measures against those caught using illegal drugs such as Spasmo Proxyvon (SP), Sunflower, Alprazolam, Codeine cough syrup, etc. The declaration signals a commitment to combating the detrimental effects of drug abuse on the community.
