GOVERNMENT OF NAGALAND OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE NAGALAND. WHEREAS. The undersign is satisfied that there is apprehension that movement/ presence of anti-social elements along the Chumoukedima-Peren border area belt may result in breach of peace/ breach of Law and Order. Endangering human life and property Including agriculture produce.

AND WHEREAS. Such situation warrants to initiate compelling action lo preserve peace and prevent breach of Law and Order.

AND THEREFORE. I, Shri Kevithuto Sophie, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur in exercise of powers conferred upon me Under Section 144 Cr.PC (Code of Criminal Procedure,1973) (2 of 1974) vide Government of Nagaland Notification NO POL-1/ESTT/13/2014/D Dtd Kohima the 17th Dec 2014 do hereby prohibit assembly of not more than 5 (five) persons, carrying lethal weapons and firearms including lathis, dagger/ machete, sticks, spears. Catapults or any other dangerous articles in the highway stretch from Vihuto Village – Khehoyi Village — Kiyevi Village area and along the Chumoukedima — Peren Border Belt.

The order shall come into effect from 0600 his of the 1st Day of December’ 2022 and shall remain enforced until further order.
